Double Acting Telescopic Cylinders provide controlled extension and retraction through hydraulic pressure in both directions. Unlike their single acting counterparts that rely on gravity for retraction, double acting telescopic cylinders offer full hydraulic control of both the extend and retract strokes.
This makes them essential for applications where the cylinder operates in a horizontal or upward orientation where gravity cannot assist retraction, or where precise control of the retraction speed and force is required. The hydraulic retraction also allows these cylinders to pull loads — not just push them.
